Job Role and Responsibilities
Overall Job Purpose
To provide specialist psychological assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for adults and children with ADHD and autism. They will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to the comprehensive care and support of clients. They will also undertake assessment, summary formulations and provide consultation to other professionals within the service.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments for ADHD and autism, using evidence-based tools and approaches.
- Develop and deliver psychological formulations and interventions tailored to individual client needs.
- Produce high-quality summary formulations and reports to support diagnostic processes and treatment planning.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, therapists, and other mental health professionals.
- Provide consultation, training, and support to colleagues regarding neurodevelopmental conditions.
- Ensure all clinical practice adheres to professional standards and ethical guidelines.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in line with legal and organisational policies.
- Participate in clinical supervision and ongoing professional development.
- Contribute to service development and improvement initiatives.
